Okay i decided to make jaytee and DyeTrader mod because i think they are pretty much willing to organise things with me so we can get shit done better. i would agree with jaytee, its just normal that everybody plays thief because the swiftness is one advantage of this class...

Next question: Should we ban the teleportation guns? They would open new routes which would be indeed very cool, but I dont want the category to get out of control...

My thoughts on jaytee's last post: In the skills/buffs category I would still ban:

1. blinking/shadowsteping
2. exec's axe (as it's still something different as making a thief (which everyone can do, the axe costs real money)

I wouldnt ban daredevil because as you already said, nobody without HoT/PoF will be interested in running JPs i guess.

Okay, just to make things clear:

1. I'll be active from now on, I had some difficulties with my pc as my HDD just stopped working and i had to get a new drive and reinstall everything (im working on that now)
2. I made the no skills/buffs rule because i wanted to make running equal for people who dont own a thief (which is for sure the OP class for speedrunning, next to mesmer). I personally own a lvl 13 thief I'm currently not playing but I still wanted to JPs... the thief is a very difficult class to learn and understand if you've never played him before and that's why I thought it was better to make the no skills/buffs rule. My solution: Making all JPs IL again as I had it before, this would allow us to make a no skill/buff and a skill/buff category which would make everyone happy.

If I want to get more things off my chest, I'll write them down here. I also thought about making a GW2 Speedrun Discord to make things easier. I'll be working on that now, I'm gonna send the invitation link here if it's created.

EDIT: again to the no skills/buffs rule: I just wanted to ürevent people from all using thief because it kinda kills the usage of different classes which I wanted to keep. But if you guys want, we can also do one category with gliding/mounts and skills/buffs and one category without gliding/mounts but with skills/buffs still allowed. To be honest if I start thinking of the no skills/buffs category, idk if anyone of you guys would run it if y'all like to run with thief.
