ok. got it. thanks. also, im planning on going for time times on each colossus for nta and hta. im new though. since valus has all these gimmicks and tricks like the cutscene move, is he the hardest one to get a world record in? if not which one is? in other words, which colosus is hardest to get n optimized time in and why?

oh, sorry link doesnt work. but its by noocurrname and its his valus 24:94 vid. I figured out through trial and error you can skip the pulling the sword out animation via rolling, but i cant figure out how he can just start running like that... it seems to be faster too...

Oh, interesting, ill have to practice that. (must be tough though!) Ive done all the time attacks but not at the elite level so some of these tricks i dont know... speaking of which in this video, the player was able to start running and perform a jump stab IMMEDIATLY after he did the second stab without having to wait for wander to pull the sword out. any idea on how he does this? heres the video...

Heres my dilemma: im aiming for a top time in each time attack and i know to do this i need to get on Valuses head by the end of the cutscene. but what i dont know is, where on his face am i supposed to grab? i cant get to his sigil in one jump, so i dont know where i should be ideally aiming to grab. is the ideal place his chest? the fur under his eye? his nose? im just not sure.

yea, did that. that was what was missing. also, for valus, should i take the sword away before doing the first attack on his heel too? or just for the head?

thanks, but if you look at shirapons 22:05 video, it seems like his first stab was short too. im just wondering if i could get away with faster stabs then the second 2 stabs i did (exluding the jump stab of course) Also, i timed my stabs and even the first one was about 0.3 seconds slower than the other top runners and i want to be able to compete for top times too...

check this video out. im clearly doing 3 full stabs (even longer stabs than some of the other elite time attackers on this boss), yet im not killing in 3 full stabs. this is the closest ive gotten. is there some mechanic im missing? this is just a trial video.

thanks for the info! Two questions: why would ps3 and ps4 versions be considered different games? And do you think the ps4 will make wander stumble around while grabbing like the ps3 version or do you think they will make grabbing onto things easier like in the ps2 version so #3 and #15 arent hell.

got it thanks. im totally new to the speedrun but ive done all the normal and hard time attacks, but it still boggles my mind how fast some of these times are. did the normal rta WR get tower skip or sword jump? id check myself but i dont think id recognize it since im new...

aside from tower skip, are there any other strats that are inconsistent and require luck to work?

Hey! im planning on speedrunning this game and getting really good times eventually. i just have a few questions. Which world record is harder, normal mode any% or hard mode any%? also, which boss is hardest to get an optimized time in normal mode? what about hard mode? lastly, why is there only one ps2 run on the leaderboards?
