Hello Symphonia community, i was thinking of performing a new kind of speedrun for Symphonia. But i need to focus our something before i start. At what point would you say the prologue part of the game ends? Would you say it's after the Martel Temple, or maybe after defeating the boss in Iselia? Or would you consider other parts at the start the end of the prologue?

I would say the prologue is kind of ambiguous in Symphonia. It could technically end after the Martel Chapel segment or it could end properly after Lloyd and Genis are exiled from Iselia upon defeating Exbelua signifying a true start to the journey ahead of them.

I feel the prologue ends right after the Sylvarant Base Botta Fight, where Lloyd reunites with his party, thus "The Quest" begins as it says in the synopsis. "And so began Lloyd's True Journey -- a quest to break the divine seals and regenerate the world."

That’s one way to look at it. It is subjective and up to interpretation.

UPDATE! I tried doing blindfolded attempts of the beginning. I did just fine getting to the point of entering the Temple. But i just couldn't get past the 1st area lol! I was honestly hoping to bring something cool and unique to this community. I apologize if I got any of your hopes up or let y'all down
