i have them down consistent on controller more or less (i say more or less bc i have them just good enough to do all abilities lmao) but they're completely alluding me on mouse and keyboard; i can barely even get backflips let alone frontflips, and im somehow getting a lot of neutral jumps despite holding forward, any tips?

I believe some people on keyboard have back binded to a different key as well as S, might help to find a more comfortable key so you can hold forward and just click back

Probably a bit late, you can by the rules bind an extra key to back but I just use the default. Press Q, hold forward, tap back and space and then immediately space again without letting go of forward. Personally I hold w with my middle finger and press S with my index, but I also have flexible hands so if you can't I would probably bind back to like E or something.
