was thinking about doing any% runs for PS2 though I don't know much about how that run works; can you only skip VOID and Legendary Theme? And is it just opening and immediately closing the disc tray to do it, or is there any sort of timing you have to do to make sure the song is skipped? I'd also like to know the extent of how much that exploit has been tested on other songs and phases throughout the songs to be sure there isn't some other skip hidden in there ^^
not totally sure but iirc when it says "end" on the bottom right of any song other than Stage 4/6 you can open and close the disc tray to skip the last portion of the song. For stage 4/6 i don't believe you can skip it before it says "battle". Unsure about the timing of closing the disc tray after.
Once the completion comes on screen, you close the disc tray. Didn't know about skipping the 'end'
Rule has changed to account for opening the disc tray when END appears for each song.
"Time starts on selecting Level 1.
Time ends on the thunder strike after beating Zowie OR when U-1's pose appears on screen after opening the disc tray.
Opening the disc tray to skip songs is allowed."
