Forza Horizon 1 has the most showcase events out of any horizon game, so I thought a category for this might be a fun idea.
Probably shouldn't allow fast travel either. The marketplace won't allow fast travel to be installed anymore so it would be an unfair advantage for those who have it, compared to those who couldn't.
I just realised I was stupid and forgot about fast travel outposts. In the previous post I was referring to 'fast travel anywhere'.
I think fast travel outposts should be allowed.
I know this is a bit late, but I made an example run of it. I decided to follow the same rules as the 'All Showcase Events' categories in fh2 and fh3.
Notes:
- Played on Xbox Series X
- My first run, so it's not very good.
- Can't use the 'fast travel anywhere' feature, so I used horizon outposts instead.
I am generally opposed to having categories that do not start from the new game on the main boards and the game doesn't have Category Extension boards (and probably will never have).
I have added clarification on IL rules. Current runs which do not follow all rules will still stand but all new runs must follow the new rules:
-Runs are timed using the in-game timer.
-No rewinds allowed.
-No replays allowed. (To prevent rewinds from being used)
-Must show race name at before
