It's unnecessary. There's never been interest until now and there are sites like gtplanet.net forums and cyberscore for things like that.
Fixed it. Thanks for pointing it out.
I realize this isn't an active category, but I have some suggestions.
Changing real time to in-game time and using the race time, since as long as you qualify you get the high score.
Changing the category name to "Qualify" for the case above.
Adding consoles Pole Position is on other than Arcade. PS1, GBA, DC, etc.
It's listed at the end of the run. Same for every run that would be done. I don't see how it's a bad idea.
Could the GBA categories be timed with In-Game Time, since after you complete Marathon, the time is listed?
There is only 1 duel against Simon in the run, so I don't understand why it can't be changed. If there was a difference, it's be no Trusdale duel. There is no way to skip into the last tier, so the runs would be the same either way.
This is way too long and boring and tedious. Scooping for hours is the worst. I can make it better by like almost an hour or something, but like why? lol And Exodia can't be the best way to go, 'cause not enough draw cards and just attacking is faster and less inputs. Also, why is category not called All Cards? There are no credits, and beating everyone gets all the cards.
There's almost no one running the game anymore, so making categories that wouldn't be run isn't a good idea. For GT2, we play the misc categories often enough, not just once to make the category and not anymore runs of it.
Those are too arbitrary and not worth creating categories for. No need to create useless categories. But, for casual play, those are ideas.
Are flash carts such as EZ-Flash IV allowed for runs of FR/LG? I can find a real cart, if anything, but figured I'd ask.
I don't think it's a grey area. HDD speedrunning isn't valid. Sony never made games accessible through HDD. It's the equivalent of a perfect emulator with no load times.
I nominate A3r1us. He's around all the time, runs all the time, knows how to make the correct decisions for the community, and is unbiased.
Let the people who are doing the research alone, and let them figure out the situtation. Everyone else, just fucking play the game.
I know the HD AV Grabber sucks, but I want to stream through component, because it looks really good. When I look through AmaRec, there's a pink/blue tint. Does anyone know why or how to fix it?
I kinda solved it. He seems to only show up on certain days or something.
I'm a little late here, obviously. 1st off, please no emulators, because of loading time discrepancies (yes it is by a lot, had to reject runs because of it). Every version can be done to 100%. Just do the event generators once for each difficulty so it's fair to everyone. I really don't want to bring pausing the timer into this, because otherwise the run becomes segmented. Which I don't know if I want to allow, but that can be discussed later.
I finished the game, unlocked all the cards, and Grandpa is gone. I can't find any info about this online other than deleting the save and beating the game again. How do you keep Grandpa from going away to do this category?
I completed a run of Any% that is being uploaded now on Youtube, has any thought of making it a full game category?
I'm trying to split while the emulator is running, and Livesplit won't take any inputs while VBA is up. I have hotkeys enabled and they work for all other programs that are open. I don't know what to do.
EDIT: Found the issue. It wasn't working when I was playing with the keyboard, but with a controller it takes the inputs.
