Hello Resi here, I just got the game today and maybe found something but I don´t know if this is known so far, in any case here are my videos : &

I am making an attempt at routing it but I left my TAS unfinished but I guess my route up to this point is optimized I timed travels between missions and duration necessary to complete them to compare each of them but right after that I haven't figured which NPCs are the fastest to go for, for shure Knuckles is next because of Polastraits mini-game requiering him making me only missing one crystal to fight Metal Sonic I think the Maskass to the left of Knuckles is a good option it's fast and near but I still have my minimap notes of missing NPCs up to this, here's what I came up with :

When done with Knuckles and the crystals to bypass Metal Sonic I believe Sparkleton missions are not worth it since they take forever to finish that's why I got Tails to unlock more of Frostown if needed on another note Amy needs to join the team since she will unlock Big's Spark Luge in Polastraits needed to face Yoshi who is necessary for his mini-game and Birdo in Cubyrinth she also unlock one worthwile mission if you do her mini-game in Frostown as well. After getting 3 more crystals which have yet to be determined we face Dry Bowser and go for Polastraits, immediatly uppon landing there you need to collect the Spark Luge I talked about before deal with Yoshi and find 2 more crystals TBD (on the way maybe), fight King Boo and move toward Cream to get the Fighter's Stick you can now face Blaze & Silver for them to be in your party members, still 2 crystals left TBD (inbtw) once done fighting Eggman-Nega leave for Cubyrinth.

Now I have yet to figure out the rest of the game since I forgot most of it and what happens next, I guess I have to document myself and pick it up again at some point don't know when tho ! Also there is the Completion Ticket that can come handy against few bosses who knows.

Beat my record instead so I can get back seriously into the game ! :P

But as I said my IGT varies depending on how crazy fast I skip the tutorial splash screens, I noticed that I know it's strange but milliseconds do matter I believe.

I'm fine with the way it is set up right now and I'll adapt myself if necessary I don't have much suggestion 2b honnest, keep up the good work and I hope more people will join the crew !

Oh and for Chapter Select why isn't chapter 1 there ? I mean IGT varies depending on how fast you skip the tutorial screens so even if it is a tutorial level with nothing to do to speed up the fight I still think it counts as a level by that I mean it would be much more precise to go with IGT for this specific category.

You're the mod so I will respect your descision no matter what I'm just giving my opinion =P V ranks huh ? gl on that I guess that's funny because I wanna fill the Chapter Select IL up ! And then after that maybe Normal and Hard mode any% NG+ totally different plan but we both want to get as much time here as possible. xD

To me NG+ means you completed everything the game had to offer and yet still offers you to start anew with that regardless of the number of times you need to beat it first to unlock all there is as long as you can make a new game file with what you already have in stock in your previous save file should count as NG+ since the game itself is made this way but it may just be me maybe it is a sort of NG++ I don't know ? And yes I agree with Glitchless it indeed depends on what is or what isn't allowed.

Seems fair to me, I don't mind the way it is now but I'd prefer a Glitchless category instead of the variable and I don't see why Beserker Rings aren't automaticly included into NG+ runs ?
