Confirmed. getting the "Perfect" achievement on a level does NOT require you to get the strand as well. IMO the strands should NOT be a requirement for a 100% speedrun.

should this category require strands? i dont believe they are necessary for getting the 100% achievement on each level

the expansion pak thing could be useful for new runners who just dont have a jumper pack. but as for the FBM trophy it really doesnt make that much of a difference to us as a speedrunning community. im assuming this would be a hack that would need to be played on an everdrive. am i correct?

oh god i just realized that doing the biker hyena launch only removes 1 power cell from the route. so of course thats what well be doing now.

After almost a year ive gone back and taken a look at the route for this category. it seems that there are definitely some quiestionable power cells and certain things that need to be timed. I want to continue working on this route soon.

we need a leaderboard for the new game Princess Remedy in a Heap of Trouble

After doing a couple of runs i realize that there are only a few levels (about 5 or 6) that aren't done as intended. Also its too confusing calling this "glitchless" when there are many things that aren't allowed that are not glitches.

I am hereby changing the category from Glitchless to Supposed-To%. There will be another thread with level by level instructions on DO's and DONT's

I have come to the conclusion that a Glitchless category would be better than Intended. Certain things that arent really glitches like hitbox extension and cod escape will be banned as well to allow for a more interesting run.

Rules:

Complete the game as fast as possible using NONE of the following glitches/tricks:

No cutscene skipping (Jumping in and out with Evo specifically) No Hitbox Extensions to hit switches with unintended animal. No pushing switches as Evo No Early Keycard (this is a Hitbox Extension) No Leap of Fox No Gravity Clip No Barrel Jump/Sewer Skip No using Evo for Early Keycard in Stinky Sewers No Cliff Clip No Super Sliding No Dead seagull or Living Penguin to press switches on Penguin Playpen No Cod Escape No Gorilla Jumps No Hippo Jump No Bone Jump No WWT Skip No Turbo Launch

You may use Evo to recharge energy faster. Killing enemies offscreen with the hyena to store laughter frames also allowed. Pillar Squeezing is allowed.(?)(its very uneventful going out of your way to pick up a fox and carry it to the teleporter on the 2 levels its used)

Hello, I have recently started doing speedruns of South Park ( http://www.speedrun.com/South_Park ). I am currently the only person running/routing this game and I fear that the only moderator is inactive. He has been inactive for about a month (I submitted a run on the 7th. I have gotten no response from him on twitch either.)

I was wondering if it is possible to make me a moderator for this game seeing as I am the only person working on the game. Thanks!

ok ill have to look into it thanks! I've been thinking about getting into TASing and figured sssv 99% wouldnt be a bad choice for first one. I mainly want to do a banjo TAS because there isnt a good one out there.

does anyone know how to fix the graphical issues on the ROM? For instance the level 1 100% TAS has visible power cells. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it.

In Stinky Sewers you can grab the trophy as Evo and hop back into the king rat from the water, making it so you dont have to waste tons of time jumping in the water and going all the way around as the slow king rat. Evo moves pretty fast in the water too :)

Found a new glitch, sadly turns out to not be useful.

If you pause at the same frame as you touch the teleporter to end the level you can exit zone, the level won't be completed(i was testing to see if you could skip the fanfare). But if you re enter the level it will automatically send you back to the stage select screen after a little bit and unlock the next level for you.
