Over the past few months, I have worked hard on the North American and Japanese versions of Immortal's speedrun on emulator. Then, I did Speedrun with Mega Drive 2 and the Japanese version of Immortal, which I recently bought from my trip to Japan.

Yesterday, I was able to run almost the same random number as the fastest record I did with an emulator, but I confirmed that there is a difference of more than 20 seconds between the emulator's record and the actual machine. (emulator was much faster than real machine.)

It hasn't been verified in detail, but I think something is wrong. I think it's unfair that my emulator record is still number one, so I will temporarily erase my emulator record.

I think it will take quite a long time to verify both the actual machine and the emulator, but I would also like to verify the actual North American and Japanese versions, as well as the Nintendo Switch and STEAM versions released by Pico Interactive.

Once the validation has been done, we will decide whether to divide emulator records into new categories.

実機とエミュレーターの速度の差について

この何か月間、エミュレーターを使って北米版と日本版のイモータルを頑張って走りました。そして、最近日本旅行から買ってきたメガドライブ２と日本版のイモータルでSpeedrunをしました。

昨日、エミュレーターで行った一番早い記録とほぼ同じ乱数の走りが出来ましたけど、エミュレーターの記録と実機の記録が２０秒以上の差があることを確認しました。（エミュレーターの方が実機より早かったです。）

詳しく検証されたことではないが、確かにどこかが間違えている気がします。このまま私のエミュレーターを使った記録が一位を取っていることは不公平だと思うので、私のエミュレーターを利用した記録は臨時的に消しておきます。

実機とエミュレーター全ての検証にはかなり長い時間が掛かると思いますが、実機の北米版と日本版、あと私が使ってたエミュレーター達と、Pico Interactiveから発売されたニンテンドースイッチ版とSTEAM版のイモータルの検証とかも行っていきたいと思います。

検証が十分に行われたら、エミュレーターの記録を新しいカテゴリとして分けるかどうか決定することにします。
