Hey, so I got the version of this on the Switch (2+), and noted that, while it's not a separate game here, it's also not one of the versions that's noted on the left. To my understanding, all the extra stuff is out of the way enough where it shouldn't be an issue (and doesn't provide any benefit at all), and it doesn't look like anything else changed. If I were to give this a stab, would I need to go buy the game again (on steam), or would the Switch version work?

Well I don't know exactly since I didn't finish the 2+ yet and only the "normal" one, but I know that on switch there is the dream world that would change the 100% (or it would be a new category) and loadings are extremely slower on switch (up to 4seconds for my switch but only 0.5seconds maximum for my PC). I don't really know if anything else changed but I think it would be better for you to buy the steam version, switch runs may be good if we talk the the mods, but there is no doubt that the PC version is better because of loadings. But if you absolutely want to run on switch and the mods won't allow it, nothing could stop you from submitting Ittle Dew 2+ on the site and getting your runs on it!

For the sake of anyone reading this in the future, Ittle Dew 2+ has:

• Much slower loading times, which is why timing is now done with in-game time. If you submit a run and do not enable the IGT from the menu, you must at least show the final time by going into the Load menu and hovering over the file you just completed, which lists the time there;
• New dungeons accessible in an optional area, complete with a set of collectible cards. Aside from these being excellent dungeons, they allow for some new speedrun categories;
• Nerfed difficulty, enemies (or at least bosses) have a little less health. For the purposes of in-game time (therefore excluding loading times), this effectively makes ID2+ faster than vanilla ID2;
• The "Record" option in the extras now lists the IGT WR for other players who've played on Switch and connected to the internet.
