Really sorry to the FF8 community and Leaderboards. OBV I only ran 1 category and not even that much so this isn't that big of a deal, but I still really appreciated running this game. It is one of if not my favorite game and enjoyed it greatly.

I got a 2:56 in this category in 2022 but didnt save the video which is a shame but sub 3 did happen.
No one seems to time runs correctly for this game. Timing ends on last relevant input which for this game is when Link's sword goes up in the air as the fanfare starts. This is BEFORE the spin. The spin is fun to end timing on but is not relevant gameplay and you don't control Link for this. Also ending timing when and arrow hits Ganon is too early as you can still do stuff (not sure what would change unless some minor lag. I know in Alttp there is variable lag on Ganon explosions).
Hope this is helpful because many times on the leaderboard are about 15 seconds slower than they should be and a few are faster.
Figured out Why, the timer always ends at 4:48 then zelda talks to you then you have to talk to zelda. Makes the NMG category a waiting fest then Ganon RNG test
I did a few any% NMG runs recently and I can't help but notice I was losing 40 seconds to WR and 20 seconds compared to my old pb on this 30 minute wait period. Any ideas why?
I'll try 18. I tried 15/16 and that's not it. I'm gonna try to improvise the walking steps will update.
Anyone know how to make this? Luz deleted his video and I can't remember.
Something about 16 encounters and then some running and walking steps.
@Quivico Ok I have done that maybe 15 times with multiple different runs. They either delete the time or reject it without a reason. I'm not sure what to do here because I have never been told what is wrong with the run (it doesn't break any rules). I seemingly can't get my run on the SRC leaderboard for no reason at all.
Is there anything I can do to get my run on the leaderboard OR at least a reason why it is rejected?
Submitted this run in October and it was just waiting in limbo since then. Finally get a response and thy rejected it just saying "no thanks". Dunno what this means or how to get this run on the leaderboard. Its the 2nd run I finished that's been rejected for no reason and the other one was rejected multiple times. I've never got a reason why and I am very confused and frustrated at this point.
Will you guys reverse certain runners or EXPLAIN why certain runners like @Stivitybobo and @DrFatbody were banned indefinitely from this website? The old administration ignored this.

Hey, recently I made a complaint about the Megaman X leaderboard moderators deleting and locking my threads when I was asking legitimate questions about why I was banned from the discord. Habreno responded to this saying that they were working on a solution and answer which I appreciate but unfortunately I have run into another problem.
I did and submitted a 3:45:44 Megaman X speedrun to the MMLB AND to Speedrun.com yesterday. This submission was rejected without reason. I made multiple threads on the forums why this was rejected but I did not get a formal answer. My 2 threads were both locked (which is why I made a second thread) without reason.

I don't know why my run was rejected as I do want it on this website. I also don't know why either of my 2 forum posts were deleted (3 in total) or why I am banned from the discord advertised on this website.
I am specifically making a complaint about the Megaman X leaderboards and moderation over there. I am being treated unfairly or at least, I have no idea and have not been told why I am being treated differently. My forum threads are not spam and my run was a legitimate speedrun that was not spam.
UPDATE: I submitted to MMLB again. I am going to submit to SRC again and we will see what happens.
I clearly stated in the run multiple times I am only doing a run to instigate drama AND to see if you guys ban the run. You did but I am curious why?
OK, I did submit my run to MMLB and it was taken down and not verified. I was also not given a redirection link. I will try to submit my run again to MMLB.
