Is it possible to use the pipe 2) from the previous post consistently? Sometimes i just come into the pipe and sometimes Mario just will not go in and is doing things like sliding to the left
How can i exactly framecount or get the time for a run? Which tools do you use and how do you get the time from a new run?
I have tried to time my runs "exactly", but most of the time the mod has retimed it. I used VLC and the plugin "jump to time"to get the first time in ms when the red dot left from "1 Player Game" disappears and the time when Mario appears in the princess room to take the difference But this seems not to be a good way.
I have tried a lot and i can recommend the controller from ibuffalo:
It has a very nice D-Pad and all buttons are near to my original SNES controller.
The controller from 8bitdo and their D-Pad are nice too, but for some several jumps in succession the buttons are a bit "hard" to press
I got a wii classic controller and the controller is really good, especially the D-Pad is nice, but i didn´t found any good adapter for usb to use is on pc. All 3 adapters i have do stupid things like "ghost inputs".
I can recommend the usb controller from ibuffallo. I use it for SMB1, SMB3 and SMW. I've tried a lot of USB controllers and the D-pad and the buttons was by far the best.
