interlude: now see, mr pac doesnt actually care about any of this. his story that he "wanted to give it to a mod" you can believe or not. what he cares about is how to make a living running a site for you guys!
Yeah, the guy who made the site with the previously impossible to find, and still VERY far from intrusive donate button, really cares solely about money.
Coolmath, as far as I know (I like half helped find this, but I still know very little about it), it takes you to the last file you played. If you die and you just started it, I'd imagine you go to A or something. It then should skip the landing cutscene, and then you reset and do it again and you can skip the second cutscene, I think. This was all done with very odd savestate codes, though, so it could all not work. lol
You can clip into there a few ways, I think mostly involving Yoshi ad wall kicks, but as Jumpyluff said there's no loading zone. If you'd like to get in there though, ask someone who knows how to Y-Turn wall kick well, or for the Yoshi method, ask Paperario.
I'm not sure who made the rules when we changed to speedrun.com initially, maybe Nkiller. You're right, though, I'll fix that~
Hey, pal, the reason this is on the leaderboards is mostly for the Japanese community, as they still run it. Essentially it's any% no unintended shine skips (as bianco 1 is part of the game, not a glitch(though, I guess if you have the JP version you can skip shine 6 in gelato for shine 8)). It will likely not be removed or changed any time soon. I understand your point, but it hurts no one by being there and some people still use it, so I see no reason for it to be different.
I really appreciate your interest in this, though! Sorry that it can't really be helped as is.
If you notice, everything is categorized by the world. The way I do that is each world is a level and each episode/story/whatever is considered a category. Speedrun.com being the way it is, each category fits into each level, and you can't have a category on just one. So in an attempt to keep the IL list navigable, I left those out. At some point, they may be added if something to speedrun.com changes, but as it is, it would be a mess if I added them.
