These are all opinion based. Do with them as you please (even if that involves removing this post).

he said it was thread worthy so i decided to make his dreams come true
Is there a 'beginner' route for SMS 120 Shine? I'm likely not able to learn most of the hard stuff right off the bat, but practicing 120 runs should help a lot with movement and learning where everything is. I don't have a preference whether the route is in text or video format.
I really want to learn how to play this game well. Over the last few days, I got my casual 60ish shine file up to 96 shines and 150ish blue coins (as of posting this). I'll find the rest of the coins on my own, but it would be nice to be able to learn the 120 shine route simultaneously.
hi all it's me again!
once again i am back being a team LEADER.
post ideas for new categories here and i'll be sure to make somebody add them.
example idea: any% no trap cards
:)
thanks moderator team your're doing a great job!!
Hey all, it's Jumpyluff. This is just an idea that I had. I could do this in a blog or whatever, but as this is a speedrun site, I'd like to do it here instead.
I want to start posting one run in here daily. I will write up a little thing about the run, link the run on speedrun.com, and the video as well. If I do end up going through with this, I will post one run from the previous day, just in case a run happens quite late. Also, anything that I say about the run is likely opinion-based. I can't speak for everybody when I write these. Don't be offended if I don't pick your run, there are so many speedruns every day! I want to try to mix this up as much as possible. I don't want to include runs from the same runner, the same game, etc. I will eventually, but I want them to be spread out quite a lot. I will obviously exclude any of my own speedruns from this list as that is not the aim of this thread.
Just a bit about myself: I am a speedrunner who has loved this hobby every day since 2013. I prefer to reach out to hundreds of games rather than sticking to one or two (though I have been settling down quite a bit recently). As of today (9/7/15) I have done speedruns of 437 categories in around 270 games. I started off speedrunning Spyro 2 and Jak II, then quickly branched out to Crash Bandicoot games, Super Monkey Ball games, IWBTG Fangames, flash games, and everything else under the sun. Here is an up-to-date sheet with every speedrun I've done: http://goo.gl/R9ZOGZ
If this thread doesn't work out the way I imagine it right now, I'll probably remove my posts as I don't want to embarrass myself. This is just my way of being just a bit more involved in the community, as I feel like I've been drifting recently. So go ahead and hit play on that video and start reading!

Erwan claimed a 4:22. I believe he started the timer significantly late. I retimed his run to be a 4:23.11. Does anybody else with a bit more experience have any insight on this?
