Huge skip for multiple levels

Okay so I've been doing some glitch hunting and when I was playing around with the possibility of clipping using saves I found this:

The first type of save clipping is pretty simple but with the second one I have no idea how or why it works. I tested some of my theories and I came out empty handed.

For some reason when you got out of bounds using the second type of clipping you can load your character back in when you go into certain areas, which most of the time will end up in falling into abyss and dying.

Forgot to mention but you have to move in the direction of your destination during the loading screen when doing the first clip.

Oh wow! This seems like it could be huge.

For the first one, is there any significance to being on the slope? Or is it holding the direction on the load screen that's the important part?

With the second clip, is the issue that its specific to that location and you don't know why - like is mantling the essential ingredient here?

For the first clip to work you need to be partially out of bounds like shown in the video so it doesn't have anything to do with standing on a slope. It can even be performed mid air.

For the unload I have no idea why that happens all I know that it somehow messes with game's memory. I'm gonna do some more tests to see if I can replicate it in an another location.

Also at the end of the loading screen Slave loads in before the collision does, that's why the save clip is possible.

Gotcha! I was able to replicate that first method real quick. I can already see that making the sewer door clips more consistent even if there aren't other uses (I have to imagine there will be other uses, though).

With the second clip, are you hopping inside of solid collision or on top of an invisible surface specific to that area? Knowing most OOB in this game, you wouldn't normally find invisible surfaces to jump along so I was curious if it had something to do with the glitch instead.

When you do the unload you can walk freely out of bounds without the risk of falling through the map but when you go into certain areas Slave loads back in, which fixes the messed up collision making falling into the abyss possible again.

Oh, I see. Interesting.

So I was able to reach the trainstation boss with this exploit. Took a bit of trial and error getting precise jumps and such, and I don't really have it memorized, but after a bit I could finally mantle up to this thing without triggering its spin cycle:

Should note that I would prefer attempting that deload glitch for this area if possible, because trying to mantle or jump to OOB ledges was a chore.

I'll leave it to others to figure out a proper angle for walking OOB, but actually I managed to figure out a solid (though annoying to perform reliably ATM) path to reach the boss without them activating their spin cycle: https://streamable.com/9r65t5

I did a lot of testing yesterday and I still have no idea how the deload works but I did figure out that it has something to do with the wall. I also managed to perform the unload on an another level by accident but I immediately fell through the world because I was mid air when I got it. I wasn't able to recreate it again but it's a sign that it is possible on other levels.

Also I found something that could be really useful. It's possible to load in the rocket launcher without loading in Slave. This could be used to deal damage to enemies and bosses from out of bounds.

I managed to recreate the deload on one of the levels. It seems like there are a bunch of spots along side some walls where if the game is saved and loaded, the game's memory gets screwed up and doesn't load in Slave, all collision (except for the collision Slave is already standing on) and some other minor things like elevator movement for example.

I also found that it is possible to load in certain parts of the map by just looking away from the part you want to load in.
