Just a quick question. Are these categories done with infinite ammo turned on, like in NG+? Or must they be done with only the ammo available in the from drops?
It doesn't specify in the rules. It doesn't say NG+ is banned, but doesn't say it's allowed either. I understand this board was created recently so it's probably still being worked on, but I was just curious.
As for bosses, are weapons such as the flamethrower (Uroboros), turrets (Irving), and the RPG (Wesker in the heliport) allowed to be used?

You probably all know by now but still yes Only 1 weapon runs are done mostly on NG+ with infinte ammo. You and either the ai or coop partner must use the same weapon as you so both using hydra or lhawks etc. And the only other weapon allowed in the run is the flame thrower for uroboros 2 seeing as he's impossible without it unless you use a rocket or 5 proximity mines
I have a question also. During item management, do you have to do this super fast? Itβs not timed by IG timer right? If not then taking your time (not too long of course) should be allowed right?
Hey so question to an answer, I haven't looked at these 1 weapon runs yet. Just saw this post pop up. But is there a proximity Mines run? If so I find that hilarious and would probably do that. XD
Hey so I ended up looking at the 1 weapon categories, and find it a bit lacking. I thought there would be categories for each weapon individually instead of shotgun, rifle, explosive π Is it possible to adjust that? JW
I think that would simply involve far too many boards, with most probably not being filled.
I promise you I'd take the time to fill them all out over the next 3 months π The proximity mine one tho, I dunno how I'd do it but I'd certainly try lol

As for timing method yes it's done igt so you don't have to worry about about inventory. As for making each weapon a run unfortunately no that's not on the cards.
Is that the same for the: flamethrower in 5-2 Rocket launcher in 6-3
I'm asking cause I've seen a run or two using the turret in the Irvine fight.
The flame thrower is the only outside weapon allowed in an only 1 weapon run. Seeing as uroboros 2 is impossible to kill without it unless you use a rocket launcher or 5 mines/ flash launcher strat. Every other boss in the game from irvin to wesker to jill and even excella can be done with just a singular weapon. Since they can be killed with what ever weapon you are using at the time you must kill them without using outside help so no Ltd no turrets no rocket etc.
That clears it out a lot more. To follow up on it, what will happen to the runs that did use one of the weapons mentioned above? Not saying that I used the weapons but I've seen a run or two on the one weapon leaderboard that did use one of the weapon. I even saw a run that didn't have a video to it anymore.
