Is anyone currently routing?

I have just finished compiling my notes based on the run that Edge_Rydia did. I am looking to start doing runs this weekend using that route and then optimize as I go. It would be great to get a bunch of people doing some runs and developing and sharing strats.

Yeah I figured a lot of people might do that for a starting point with the English release. I'll hit you up in your twitch chat if you are running in the near future Koka.

I would be happy to make the notes available, but it might take me a couple days. Currently they are in chicken scratch that probably only I can decipher lol. So I will go through the route today and tomorrow to compile and condense them, make sure that I have correct names for everything and make sure I am not picking up unnecessary items and doing unnecessary fights.

A good thing to look out for is opportunities for flux bonuses. I noticed edge_rydia was doing 3x the amount of dmg I was :/

Just checked and Ive got permission, Ill have a read through and actually finish Setsuna tonight, Ive been dicking around for the last 2-3 days on it just doing side quests. God damn those side quest 1v1 fights destroyed me >.<

I have been trying to route this run for a few days now. I have most of the kinks down but hoping to do an attempt over this weekend since I have been focusing on specific monster kills needed at certain points of the route. I love this game and so glad to get it going during its early stages.

Hey, I'll probably do it tonight, figuring out the routing and stuff. But one thing I noticed is to set rules for start time and end time for the run, seems a little "off" to me to start it when you hit "OK" on new game even though it asks you if you want the voices activated. Also, this is my 2 cents, the end time should be the moment drops to the ground since all you have left is text, silence, and then credits. But maybe this is a discussion for a different thread.

Also been working on this speedrun, Trying to incorporate some different things and testing some methods other than edges run. good luck to all.

Thats about the same what I am doing right now. Though 1 questions from watching that run, I assume that you need to get Endir to level 30 by farming that champ so he has enough slots?

You don't need that many slots

Then why grind to level 30? in that one spot?
