You guys are right. I will create those cats very soon
I assume you mean on hole 4? Basically you have to reset for the right pin (as opposed to the left). The right pin only shows up 1/3 of the time, so expect a lot of resets.
After you get the right pin, you need to aim your shot correctly.
For direct north or south winds, aim directly at the pin as it is shown on the mini map, and hit roughly a 1.9 shot with the driver.
For northwest/east and southwest/east winds you need to adjust your shot accordingly. You don't need to adjust as much as you may think on these winds.
Finally, for direct west and east winds, you need to adjust quite a bit farther than the northwest/east winds. I can't give an exact amount and I suggest you just play around with it. And remember that you should hit a 1.9 shot on all these winds.
I hope this helped! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask in the discord server.
Yeah, I had the same problem. I basically just had to learn how to do it right handed. Not much else I can say,
There's also my tutorial in the guides section of this page if that helps
Yeah. I think you are messing up your timing with the reconnect. Try doing it earlier than you think
Does it get close to the water but never touches? Can you hear the crowd? If so is it before or after the lag?
Yes, you have to keep the timer going when picking the next game, if your want you time to be accurate.
I'm reading up on it and it seems you can, but you need homebrew to load it. Meaning it would fall under USB loading. Also, don't listen to @silver_speedrunz. If your run is USB loaded and you purposely don't tell us it's a quick way to get banned off the boards.
If you are using a USB loader, you are free to submit it to the boards, but the run will be hidden by default.
Instead of having to make a new profile after every failed run, I think if we don't get past arrow we can just use the same profile. I tested this and it does save a bit of time as a skip box pops up after the first run on the profile. This skip only saves 1-2 secs but would make running the game a lot less painful. Of course I think any run past arrow needs a new profile. Let me know what you guys think.
no... AMAZING IDEA!
I have acquired and tested runs on a Japanese copy of the game. I decided to make this forum post because I discovered that the Japanese version is significantly slower than the others. You do gain advantages in Patchwork, because of the scrolling text. However, you lose ~30 seconds in Pirates because of the non-scrolling text. I thought this might be interesting to mention.
