Yeah there are actually some difference, ps2 90k fds is faster than emu, faster loading times . Depends on the category you want to run, ng+ ( ntsc J ofc) for the other ones is the same, it is all about the rng at the end of the day.
And yes we care since it is Forbidden Memories :)
Look at the list of cards that you cannot use, for starters. Gl on the runs!
