Would like to request moderation right for http://www.speedrun.com/lol
There are 3 inactive mods, longer than 3 months inactive. I currently moderate the Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe leaderboards.
The issue here is, if we add IL leaderboards, it wouldn't represent an accurate view of what actually is world record.
@XCS, if such an occasion would happen, I can always download the VOD and time the run using Sony Vegas. This way I can frame perfectly time a run.
Thanks for the data! Loading times are still random in terms of loading new tracks. I made a post about loading time on MK8 a long time ago. They're on the forums if you're interested.
I would but when I add the subcategory it shows me this: and no runs in verification list.
So I decided to add subcategories to a certain category list in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but when I added those, the runs were gone. After getting rid of it, they were back again. Is there a way to place those runs back after setting the subcategory? Thanks in advance!
Right now they are not allowed on the leaderboards, maybe in the near future. But timing would indeed end when the 2nd player crosses the line.

Just a little update on how to time for example a Retro tracks or DLC Tracks run from a 32/48 Tracks run.
If you do a 32 tracks run, you can time both the Nitro and Retro tracks. Nitro should just be start to when you cross Rainbow Road. Retro tracks should be timed from the moment you cross the finish line on Rainbow Road until you cross the finish line on N64 Rainbow Road. DLC Tracks would be from when you cross finish line on N64 Rainbow Road until Big Blue finish line.
Example: you cross the finish line on Rainbow Road at 40:00 and your N64 Rainbow Road split would be 1:18:00, then your Retro Tracks Run would be a 38:00.
If this seems unclear to anyone, let me know.
Might add them if people would like to see No Items Cups
Has to be turned off. Changed to wording if it was unclear for some people.
In the VS settings, you can select "No Items". We use this setting. There is also the setting "No Items and Coins". The category name is No Items and not No Items and Coins so therefor coins are allowed.
Switch version has a different leaderboard. http://www.speedrun.com/mk8d/full_game
Bad audio means youre running an NTSC game on a PAL region
