How do i use a tool to patch the smb rom???

Does anyone know how to get the x pos rom hack and then upload it onto open emu???

Hey guys, new to the speedrunning scene on this game and I have a couple of questions.

1. Emulator:

So first off I use a Macbook air M1 chip 2022 model, and the emulator my friends have suggested to me is citra, is this emulator allowed for speedrunning?

2. Recording device.

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap capture card for my 2ds or is recording the screen via another device acceptable, if so what device would you suggest is best to record the screen with and how do i set the device up so that the DS is in a good viewable position?

3. Splits.

Where can I find splits that I can download for my macbook?
