I am against it to tell you the truth

Hello. Ive been playing mercenaries on RE5 for many years. I am not that active anymore but every now and then I do some runs for banters.

This game has been around for a long time and understandably people have moved on to different games over the years. RE5 obviously is not the best game of the series but its the coop aspect what makes it really stand out from the previous titles and I can objectively say that this game is the best coop RE. It is certainly much better than RE6 and the other spinoffs.

It was a very good decision to ditch the gfwl edition as it is heavily outdated and brings along technical issues. Not to mention the issue with "grandfathering" where especially the pro players keep insisting on playing the significantly inferior version, despite the fact that there's an official steam version released by capcom. No offense and credit to the very talented players but how can you be so NARROW MINDED to stick to an inferior version FOR SO LONG.It is something that I never saw in any other game, the bunch of players need to understand that and adapt.

This category could need a little more improving because it does look abandoned. It seems like virtually nobody cares about RE5 mercenaries. I also have a few ideas how to make mercenaries a little more appealing to at least attract a few more players.

With a freshly newly established leaderboard for this category we could give players back the chance to enjoy the mercenaries WITHOUT the cheaters.... just like the old days where you could easily see who's on top or what the top 10 looks like. Nobody wants to look at the official leaderboard because there are simply thousands and thousands of cheaters and nobody makes the effort to scroll up for literally a few minutes just to see who has legitimate scores.

With speedrun. com there's finally a centralized source where players can gather and post their legitimately verified scores.

Ive been a really big fan of the mercenaries & I am fairly skilled at it. I wanna give the mercenaries THE RECOGNITION IT TRULY DESERVES.
