Since no one seems to know, don't worry. In case I get an english PAL copy instead of the NTSC cart, I will provide the knowledge if the manip works there or not. And for if it is legal or not, I let the mods decide it after I tried. Have a great one :)

Hey quick question I hope can be answerd before I am doing the work in learning the game / getting a wrong cart:

1. In the rules it says it needs to be english. Does it matter if its a PAL or a NTSC english cart? (also for manip?)
2. I have one of the fancy GBAHD's aka original hardware GBA with an HDMI out. Does this effect about the legality of a run since its still original hardware?

also you can just highlight the one your runs on twitch. cause it sounds like you want to submit a whole vod (cause you speak of different scenes), which wouldn't be productive since they dissapear after a time.

There are no "correct" splits, since splits are just made for you to compare your times on the places u think they fit. So most of the time they will be made after bosses or skips, where you can consistently split since it would be the same place in any run. The only important thing would be when u start the timer and when ur last split is, but you can find this in the rules of the category you wanna learn. Other then that you can also just watch a run and split where the other runners split so you can compare your times even better with other runs, at these designated places. :)

I only asked (or more like bumped the question) cause I am not sure if I wanted to go the extra mile of looking up the japanese skills/orders/etc for the game since I have both here in JP and ENG. I would say ENG first and if I take it to the end and enjoy it I can still go the extra mile afterwards :)

Its easy to explain. You only have to fight the blight which u havnt fought while playing through the game. Since u prob. have beaten the blights in the Divine Beasts, you dont have to refight them.

I will prob still run NG+ for steam cause of not having a CRT TV atm and hooking up my GC on a HD TV looks kinda... not how I would like it :D (If I get a TV maybe through Ebay I will prob run GC) But when I am already on it: Do u guys have like short notes infront of u when u run it or do u remember just everything? Never ran a long game like this so I rather ask in advance before I do it later :) Also didnt wanted to insult you by calling it dead, It just seems a little quiet in these forums for a long time, so I wasnt sure if you stll look into it :)

Ok i thought about it. Let's make the question easy: Can I speedrun the "german" Steam Version without getting a disadvantage and can I use the guide to learn it?!

Hey guys I am planning or more like want to learn to run ToS. I am from EU Germany and I know that i can forget my Pal disc to run it. I also have no clue about Wii region change thingy magic. But I also have the steam version. But since I am in EU do you guys know if its just a 50hz port from the PS2 version or if it's a run able version? Sry for my confusing english :/ I hope that someone here is still alive :D

Since this game is out on Wii U VC its theoreticly runable on it as well. But u also can get the Bass Cross and special chips pretty easy early in the game. So two questions: 1. Any% is practicly the fastest category, so i am should be allowed to abuse this right?! 2. If not shouldn't there be a tab for wii u only? Or should I just learn the game without thinking about the extra stuff. ( Also u could take this question for the rest of the BN games as well, like BN4). Hope its active enough that I can get an answer :D Thanks anyway

Hey dear fellas, I already asked that some of you but i didn't got a reply. So I thought "Why not opening a new thread so everyone can see how it's done" Well I wanna learn TPHD any% The question is.. how? I have no access to an emulator for Wii U. I just have a Wii U and the Game. Do you run the game over and over again? And how to learn certain parts. I know there are 3 Savestats ingame, but are they really enough? Hopefully this question can be answerd. thank you in advance
