Now that there's several moderators: There are a lot of old, existing Lotus 2 runs, including longplays, that have very good individual times.

Example: This run Storm course finishes with 9 seconds left, which in my opinion is absolutely a speedrun and a worthy achievement. The other races are also extremely strong. Even the full run could be submitted.

Moderators can submit and verify runs for other people, and it has been done in other Amiga games that I run. Opinions?

Also VERY interesting: This video shows "Record" and "Personal Best" at the end of each race. I wonder if there was any leaderboard back then where they took record from.

I can only find score competitions from EAB and Lemon Amiga, no times submitted. But yeah, Trapshot has run the full game on the AmigaLive stream with good times so I'd be tempted to enter his results on the board as well. There are good individual course times there as well.

It should be worth noting that most games under "longplay" umbrella use savestates as the purpose of those videos is to complete the game and not competiton or breaking records. Maybe saves are not used during levels, but such videos should be considered with care.
