Exactly, and also you can print on a box or in the EULA what you want, say 'You may not make copies, even for "legal use"' But you still may, because that's the ¤actual¤ LAW

Just because Nintendo says it is so, it ain't so. As far as I can tell, from the few sources that actually quote the law and court decisions, if you a) make a dump of a cartridge you own, to b) be able to play a game on your PC, that you could also play on original hardware and c) neither modify nor share or sell the image it is considered fair use. And Any individual may reproduce a copyrighted work for a "fair use;" the copyright owner does not possess the exclusive right to such a use. (SCE v Universal) Actually proving that this is ¤not¤ what happened when someone submits such a run is very hard. I don't think a court could hold the site responsible, as long as no information is given on how to do illegal things.

Not a lawyer, just how I understood some of the points made by someone smarter

It does vary, but you could look at some of the more recent runsin your category and see how much time passed between submission and acceptance. Should give you a idea of what to expect

If you're into that kinda stuff, you could try American Horror Story... Each season has a new story arc, with some of the actors playing different characters. It's a blend of psychological sex-violence-horror and kinda alternates between the eerie kind of horror (a little like Twin Peaks maybe) and good old Scream-style slashing. I didn't watch past the first season and IMO it's not quite the fresh take on horror it is made out to be by some, but again, if horror with scenes that feel a little off and opressive and lots of leather-masked coitus sounds good to you, this is your show!

Haha wow, thanks all!

Hey, fellow runners My name is Johannes and I've been casually playing ALttP for a couple of years now, to the point where it is so easy it's boring. So I thought, why not try this? So far I have destroyed two PS3-Controllers and nearly broke my ankle when I hit it with a PS3-Controller (unintentionally!). I've been trying to get a Master Sword run below 25' before submitting the first time and today I almost did it (wrong turn on the way to the sword) After that, I'm not sure where this is going, but I hope there's great times in all our futures here Anyway, enough rambling! Greetings - J.
