There is a huge list of tracks to compete on. Some of them were requested, so here is an explanation for the "Level Leaderboard":

The Cups: -"All Races%" is for every race in the cup and the numbers 1-30 stand for the individual races in the cup. For individual races the time shown at the end counts. For "All Races%" the timer starts if you click on the race and ends if you cross the finishline of the last race.

The Maps: -"Best Lap" is for the best lap overall. Can be a sitting or flying start, so it can be on any lap of any race on this Map. -Useful for that could be to que up by yourself which allows you to use any car with max upgrades on any track (not reverse tracks). You have to go to >Multiplayer>Wi-Fi>Host. -The Numbers 1-30 stand for the amount of Laps. Since there are already categories for every race, just "Multiplayer" Runs will be accepted with 1, 3 and 5 Laps.

Upgrades: You can set Upgrades to Low, Medium or High. The Leaderbords are not seperated BUT you can sort by Upgrades to see who is the fastest with XXX Upgrades. For the "Cups" the Upgrades are allways set to High, since we cant compare all kinds of Upgrades.

I changed the "All Checkpoints" Category to "Java"

Hey!

First off, last month we reached 2.500 runs submitted to this page, now we are already at over 2.700 runs!

SirUntouchable and I tried to get a seperate site for DeathRun: Bedrock speedrunning, since it didnt really work to get it verified we try our best to provide a good experience and a good overlay for Java and Bedrock speedrunners.

If the bedrock update gets released with private games where you can set the cooldown lenght, we will start an open discussion on how to handle it on the speedrun site.

For now I sorted the Maps by alphabet, to make it easier to find the map in the huge Map-Pool, I hope this helps since most of you know tha alphabet!

SirUntouchable is now a Veryfier on this page, that means he can Verify/Deny/Edit your runs! Even if I am at least every second day online it helps a lot and now we have someone in the team with Bedrock knowledge!

ALSO: Two things that happen a lot: Players submitting with the wrong plattform and players putting their screenshot in the video section. Please

1. Add your SCREENSHOTS in the DESCRIPTION
2. Check what plattform you set in your submission

Hey Speedrunners!

Here is a little Update on what happend the past weeks:

1. Mobile got their own section.
2. Western runs are finally on their right spot.

Also most of you do it right, but please keep in mind to put your screenshots in the description. The Video section is JUST for Videos. The reason for that is: you can sort by "Runs with Video proof" so people who are struggling to find a good route can find easier videos to help them improove their Speedruns.

Hello! Atm it looks like there is a bug on speedrun.com. As much as I know, sometimes the Runs dont show up in your sections for your submissions. I think that because someone texted me with that problem and we get really many double submissions. Its pretty time consuming to handle them all so please submit your Runs ONCE and wait one or two days, we will see it and add it!

This May Sound stupid but is it worth thinking about: Get Ralts Trade in Rustboro City, Get Seedot (Seedot is Traded and gets way more xp). Do the run with op Shiftry. Just a random Idea, Maybe Im missing something, Im just a Pokemon Emerald Addict, no speedrunner.

Also in R/S could so the same with Hariyama since it CAN kill flying type pkm with rock moves, just having a problem with psy pkm (also pretty slow tbh). Tell me what im missing!

Isnt this the same since you can get in MINE dia the WR on glitchless by blowing it up? Someone mined it and got the WR in Random Seed Mine Diamond, why its not in "Glitchless"?

I had a diskussion going on ingame with sleepy, if the skip of the last checkpoint on Sonic is against the rules. It dont belong to our All Checkpoints category but I dont see a Hive rulebreak (map glitch) in this case. The question is if I will add an Any%/NoRulebreakingSkips category for all maps? In this category a Video will be required! Do you have any questions or opinions on this change? I will hear what the community have to say and decide then if I will add it or not.

(I think it should be clear that huge skips are not allowed in this category).

Im thinking about give Pokemon Emerald Speedrunning a try, but I just have the german game Pokemon Smaragd (same as Emerald in german). Am I allowed to use the german version or do I need to buy the english version for speedrunning?

I look sometimes here in the Forums and want to say a few things:

1. We are not inactive. I look every 2 days in the Speedrun requests and add/reject runs. We get really much runs (the past 2 days there was 32 new requests). I edit all of them because most people dont put the milliseconds in their runs or set 1 hour instead of 1 minute. Atm we are at 1200 runs.

2. Some runs have delay to get accepted. Sometimes if players want a top3 time and dont have any evidence we DONT ADD them. For a Top3 time you need a clear fullscreen screenshot or a moderator of speedrun.com in your game. We had players who tried to hack their times and dont want it happen again. ALSO sometimes we arent sure if we should trust a run (legit or not). Then we discuss about the runs before adding or removing. As example if a player have really bad times on every map and is Rabbit rank, but try to get a world record on a old map like Sonic. We dont think this is legit. (and yes this happend).

3. We have atm no problems with the runs and I dont think we need more moderators. I will discuss with the other mods if we need more or accept people who want to be moderators.

4. I look sometimes here in the forums so feel free to comment or post stuff here. It could have some delay but you will get answers. We are all more active on the Hive Forums so better message there if its an important question: https://forum.hivemc.com/forums/deathrun.119/

I am currently try to speedrun Minecraft in a new way, I try to get all blocks wich exist in minecraft, well its not ALL blocks. Some blocks arent possible to get like bedrock and blocks arent in the list wich you can just get from Dungeons like mossy cobblestone and prismarine stuff. This category need a 1.8 and a 1.9+ Leaderboard. just took the blocks from building Blocks section in creative inventory. I think thats enough. Before I try to get a good time and submit it I want ask if its possible to add this?

To finish the run you have to put all items in a chest/have it in inventory.

Hey! I looked around in the web for speedruns of Pokemon randomizer but didnt really found something. I just found a few requests for AGDQ but I understand that the idea of playing a randomizer isnt a good idea for awesome games done quick. However I do just for fun speedruns of Pokemon randomizer with a few own seted rules (for config of the randomizer). Its emerald randomizer btw. I just want ask if its possible to open a new category for randomizer in the diffrent games? A randomizer speedrun is a bit like a normal speedrun. You need much knowledge about the game and deal quick with difficult sytuations! Also planning is a big point. As example you have to quick find a pokemon with a not-normal attack for ghost pokemon or a fly/fire type for wonderguard pkm. Also its good to catch quick at the beginning a good variation of pokemon. Well a speedrun of a randomizer is really complex and I hope you think about my idea because if you do it right this game isnt that luck based.

(Its not an original game its a hack so maybe count as a completely new game?)
