Sorry, just read your msg Eagle, SNES mini has a way to load retroarch to it and use a GBA core
Sounds good, I'll be uploading RTA and IGT times with the requierements that were asked for bizhawk, let me know if it would be better to upload them in the same thread as bizhawk
Hey, I know a lot of testing was done before accepting bizhawk and just wanted to ask, if I start playing in Snes classic and submit the time comparisons between RTA and IGT as it was made for bizhawk, if there could be a chance for SNES mini to be accepted as a valid emulator?
Just asking this because I really like the SNES controller to play, I would completely understand if it is ruled out for RTA as any other emulator besides bizhawk as of now.
Thanks!
There s absolutely nothing wrong with that run, luigi is an amazing runner.

Look at video again, he is not shooting during the dash animation, he shoot the very next frame that the animation is over (pretty easy if you leave the shoot button pressed) also, Im sure he didnt even mean to do it like that since that actually lost a little bit of time

The clock will always do more or less complete animation cycles depending on PC performance (it has absolutely nothing to do with Internet speed) thats why runs can be submitted without loading times (so that everyone is on fair ground at least in PC) you can setup your timer to automatically pause during loading if you use the autosplits for cuphead (there is a tutorial somewhere in this page)
Hello Aizawa!! :) Fellow country runner.
I'm not a mod but that was asked in the past and any type of third party softwared/modification is not allowed that could potentially help during the run.
You can practice with it but runs can't be submitted like that, I'm not 100% sure what the main reason was but I believe one valid one is because xbox runners can't make use of such tools and it would also make it easie to calculate stuff such as Hilda Freeze or Beppi 2nd phase kill during 1st phase, etc.
Just asking because the rules specifically state to start with Leonardo, so thanks
I asked if it was possible to start the timer whenever you chose any turtleand not just leonardo, since it might be better to start with other turtle with harder execution in case you need to reset
@Mrmanny620 looks like you are a mod now, gratz!! :) hopefully you can reply the question I did a few months ago, I want to get back to doing an optimal run for this game
Hello, I believe this is the right place, but if not, can someone guide me to the right one?
I've asked a question a lot of months ago in the forum for TMNT 2003 for gba and it hasnt been replied, also as of lately other players have made other forum threads that need moderation contact and no one seems to be actively looking at that forum for months now.
Is there anyway to requests new mods for that game? It shows very little activity and not a lot of active players but maybe the lack of mod contact is causing that as well.
I can volunteer myself as I am bringing this issue to the table but any other more experienced TMNT series runner could be chosen as well, Im not sure how mods are determined.
Thanks!
I asked a question like who knows how many months ago and no mod has come around smh hahaha I guess this should be reported to admins
Yeah, I understand that, I'm just thinkng of ways for the board to look more clean haha, plus it could just be stated that the categories can be found inside each diffculty tab.
But again, just random thoughts :)
I guess it kind of makes sense... but I still believe it could look less messy without the split for glitchless.
I've just been thinking on cleaner ways for the leaderboard... not sure if this is possible as it might make the leaderboards look cleaner as well?
Have the tabs just as "Simple" "Normal" and "Expert" and inside each tab have all the categories? Like for example, if someone clicks the "normal" tab, then inside that tab there would be options to watch all the possible different normal categories, again, not sure if that is possible but I believe that could help to get the leaderboards in a more organized way.
1)Cool

I onow there was a poll about.it.but what is.the point.of having glitched categories split? Is there really anyone interested in playing "glitch" in new patch?
-
If glitched categories didnt have the split I believe that wouldnt be an issue, sinc glitchless would default to new patch and glitched would still show the main leadeboard for those runs by not being split
PS: Sorry for typos and weird punctuation, writing from mobile
Just wanted to give some suggestions at least from my point of view:
-
Wouldnt it be easier to creare "All Bosses - Menu Glitch" and move the frw runs with menu glitch there? And if there seems to be very little interest in the category, have it in misc?
-
I believe the glitched categories shouldn't have the legacy/current patch division and also I believe the glitchless categories should default to show the current patch as the main leadeboard
Thanks for all the effort being put towards everything since the game came out, I know it has been one interesting ride so far haha
Just press the buttons for buying and leaving the shop almost at the same time, with a few practice you will get used to how to do it pretty quick
I would love to participate, if the time is running short to plan something, why not have like a showcase of the different categories and plan for a tournament to be held starting sometime in Jan?
So this is my votes
Dec - Showcase categories (I could participate in Low% - Normal)
Plan along with speedrunning staff a tournament in the future with more planning time (All bosses - Normal would be the best option IMO)
After you defeat king dice you need to head to the devils place, he asks if you want his deal or not... if you hit "No" then you fight the devil, if you hit "yes" then you become his ally and the game ends there with the ban ending... that is what you need to do to end this category
Hmm interesting, considering the time it saves versus the setup not sure if people would be willing to do it.
There are other games that use similar setup to inherit certain stuff to fresh files (such as Banjo Kazooie FFM trick) in which in theory you do play in a fresh file, however, you already have all the moves learned, saving a considerable amount of time.
Still I don't know if this would be allowed, I don't think is a major issue to allow it in runs, I just think it would be annoying to setup before every run to save about 3 seconds haha.
Nice finding btw!
