I've had this game in my library for about a year or so now and I haven't played it in about... a year. I stumbled upon this and was wondering the tactics and tricks used. thank you for your time, -Terry Lynch
You can watch any of the runs to see what tricks are being used. The game is pretty fresh in the speedrun side, so there might and most likely is some tricks and routes that are not found yet.
Other than looking up the runs, important tactic is to !keep your ammo count in mind.! You can get more ammo from the enemies along the way. Turrets also give you ammo even more than the enemies.
Trying to save medkits on the bosses is always valuable. Also try to remember all the spots for ammo, medkits and dog meat.
If you want to go for an easier strat in level 6 for a starter, watch runs that are from October 15th and before. - Rock flying is pretty tedious to learn, but the way to learn it is practicing it 20-40 minutes before runs. - And at least what I like to do myself, even practicing it during a run. It becomes a muscle memory after few days of practice.
