Assuming you are on windows. You can add an firewall rule that disables the N++ executable from accessing the internet. Offline steam works as well but you don't have to remember to do it and it only effects N++.
Yes, NoAbility runs are eligible for any% runs. However they tend to be slower, so if someone has run both, their slower no ability run will not show under any% as the leader board only shows their fastest time per category.

i tied with someone in forest classic. Something that probably wouldn't be a tie if milliseconds were involved.
I noticed that run times do not include milliseconds but only seconds, for runs as short as this and the fact that people are going to have very close runs, I feel that having milliseconds on the run time is a must.
Timing might be a little weird to handle but its not that bad. Here is an example of a forest run with me and a friend. Connection isn't a huge problem. We are almost worst case scenerio with one player being in the USA and another being in Australia.
Leaderboards for at least 2 players. Where multiple people play together to finish as fast as possible.
