But the reason they aren't allowed is likely due to inconsistency in loads depending on your hardware. It is not nearly as accurate as even Dolphin emulator.
Apologies for the super late response, but yes Bizhawk should be allowed. I am pretty much following the rules from SMB1.
You make a custom comparison and manually put the times in on Livesplit.
On Livesplit right click and go to Edit Splits, then you'll see the highlighted option from my screenshot. After that you manually input times to the split editor

In my mind the bounty was not to incentivize people to do it. To me it was more of a bonus to anyone willing to do it. I guess calling it a bounty was not the smartest thing, but anyone that puts the work into the run only for the $100 is approaching it wrong. They should be putting the work in because its a goal they want to work for, the $100 to me was just putting more eyes on it and maybe just an added thing for those who want to do it. If at this point it is a financial thing, dw about it. I don't think many people would be upset if you weren't able to withhold a bounty from over 2 years ago. That's just my take on everything though

Yeah, I have a personal spreadsheet for ILs. I would like to see a leaderboard for them, but I can see why there isn't one
When you enter most galaxies, you are able to execute a frame-perfect jump (It might be like 2-3 frames in this game, I always forget) which lets you move instantly. After a launch star, speedrunners quickly go into first person and then exit to be able to cancel the landing animation
@wumpus_023 I'd probably ignore this kid. He spouts tons of nonsense in the MK8DCE forums about random subjects. I'm going to assume he's just a young kid that doesn't know any better and is probably too young to be on this site/social media platforms, and is just trying to fit in.

It's possible but it's also very arbitrary. Basically all categories (even the CE ones) have some sort of goal. This one just seems like you sat down and looked at the settings to see what you could come up with.
