Are there even any glitches/skips or is this speedrun mostly just play it normally and just be optimal with pathing/leveling and get good rng on items?

Can we import our own new character? Example save 2 times at the saving station and import the copied save? Still the same new character

edit: this is allowed in bg da 1 too, but wasnt specified in the rules here when mentioning importing

As long as you don't gain some sort of advantage by eliminating load screens or something like that, or gain extra exp or items, I don't see a problem with it. I know BGDA1 uses lots of imports and recalls to go OoB and skip certain parts, but it's not doable on certain platforms. If you can find some skips by doing this, I'd be all for it
