Hello! You don't need any fancy software, we just need any sort of video feed for proof (so recording with a regular camera is good). You don't need to have splits but a timer on the feed would be ideal if possible so that it's easier to verify.

Pause buffering does still work in time attack the same way it did on Wii U, except the menus are a lot faster so the timing is a bit different. It also feels like they fixed the "DsS" glitch where the camera doesn't follow the rocket if you mash too quickly, but it's possible I just didn't pause buffer well enough when messing with it.

Super late reply but I'm currently working on routing All Puzzles, I'm about 2/5 of the way there since I'm also making a recording for each level. Glad I'm not the only one interested in the puzzle pieces though :P

Hey! Sorry for the late response, I haven't checked these forums in a while. Some runners are doing "No out of bounds" runs that don't use the glitch but that most likely won't be considered a main category. It's mostly used to compare times to previous runs that didn't use the trick.

The biggest reason not to make them both "main" categories is because the sole difference is a single level that saves 50 seconds in an hour and a half run. Besides that there isn't any difference at all, so making them both "serious" categories is kind of a waste when you can just learn 4-B optimally and you already know the rest. You can technically do the air swim glitch for 4-1 as well but that's a different discussion.

Submissions aren't working for me ATM, I'm just getting a "page is not working" error. Is that on my end or are there just a lot of submissions?

Yeah this is a fantastic speedrun (totally unbiased) and we're all super friendly :P If you're just thinking of doing Time Attack some are pretty easy while some are really tough, but if you're thinking of RTA runs there's a lot of info and we're all more than willing to help :)
