M1 Crane Skip (15~ seconds save)
-
M1 NA No Sniper Hack (Like 2~ seconds slower then JP optimally)
-
M2 Small Jump (Saves like 7~ seconds)
-
M4 JP/Alternate NA Skip (20+ for JP, 3 seconds slower on NA vs. first try optimal skip)
-
M9 OoB Skip (It's only like 10~ seconds. Shame you can't go down further)
-
Easier M9 Skip

I found many useless OoBs, especially in M4. Example:
This game gives you an IGT time at the end of credits. Considering emulation is much faster then console, it would be a good timing method to incorporate. Also, separation of emulation and console is probably a good idea if not using IGT.
- Is turbo/auto-fire allowed?
- How do you do so much damage with him is it mash or timing 3 bullets consecutively?
For Bio1 I've always had the black boxes issue due to using a dual gpu laptop. On rebirth its only on blood/glass, subtitles and the menu. Would a run with these issues be accepted to the board?
Either starting the race just with 1 lap or just taking your best ever lap.
- With 1 lap it will be shorter and you will probably do less stunts.
- With Best Lap, you would just submit your best lap. This is kind of annoying because sometimes it might mean you need to double submit (Single race time can also have your best lap), it also means building up turbo for like 7 laps only to have 1 shot at a best time on your next one. Of course there is no need to add these and we can just keep the standard 3 lap as the only category.
Wanted to put up some full game RTA categories now that I own a physical copy of the game, anyone got any ideas on what to do?
Are there any written notes/guides for the run? Personally like going through the game with them rather then video. Thanks :D
I was wondering if anyone has tested to see all the glitches function on the new enhanced version of the game?
Hey all. I was just wondering if it would be possible to move all of the current Wizardry games into a Wizardry Series? There is 5 wizardry games on the site already. It would make searching much easier but its not really that big of a deal if it is a difficult task.
Is there any chance those games can be added to this series tag?
I remember this board having runs, I know they still exist on YT but I would want to submit if I decided to run the game myself.
Would Wild Guns reloaded be a separate game on this board? If I would like to run that version could I post here? Also I wonder if it would be faster, been a while since I played the original.
I found a way to skip pretty much all the encounters apart from a few which are possible to skip but is very difficult to pull off. If you pull this off everything that happens in the battles is always the same if you do the exact same thing.
It requires you to play perfect and not take a wrong step. It is possible because you can buffer inputs while moving. It would take a long time to route something like this but I just thought I'd post this just in case anyone was interested.
I can post a video showcasing it at some point...
Tried using PSXjin but it just isn't working for me. The game will load but my keys don't work, I can't press anything and if I press space (which is mapped to frame advance) it breaks the whole emulator. Has anyone done anything to get the buttons to actually work? I've poked around on google but no luck.
