Seattle, WA, USA@00_wata_00 I suppose I could add that and just expect people to know you can't do it in the other alphas. The thing is, this board was made with Alpha 19.6 in mind (It's still the version I run), and it can feel a bit weird to have version specific runs.
So I suppose I'll just assume people will know that T6 is only in new versions
You're supposed to randomly generate the seed, It's hard to enforce this but it is in the rules, and someone pointed out that your seed is clearly the same one another runner used
I don't run the game much these days but when I do, I personally stick to A19.6 and occasionally A20.
Feels a little cheap to call your video "world record" when it's just because Alpha 21 is in beta and hasn't really been run much.... But good job
@Marcus7276, it's a glitch that was discovered a long time ago involving the way that the blocks in that spot are shaped.
Phosphoric Sheep, if you're talking to me, the problem is that I'm not actually good at speedrunning at all. My hand eye coordination and and general precision is terrible. I just am the guy who spends hours finding all the speedrunning tricks for games lol.
Yeah it's called "loot chaining", I actually discovered it (it's actually why I created the speedrun board in the first place, without loot chaining I probably wouldn't run this game).
It's important to also keep the same seed when loot chaining.
If you guys really want something fun, do 19.6 runs of Bicycle%. Mine was only 14 minutes and it wasn't even optimized

Question: Why is this submitted as 2 minutes 56 seconds? the timer seems to be 2 minutes 57 at the time of the last hit, and even the video says 2 minutes 57.
I know it sounds petty to fight over 10th place but.. well I don't really have anything to follow that with, I'm admittedly being a little petty.
Time starts as soon as you can see the world, not when you can start moving.

I know you're probably new to speedrunning but please, please put timers on your recordings.
There's like a 1/6 chance that you get a grace you can kill without needing the last 2 bullets. And a 2/6 chance of having a grace you can even kill with the bullets.
No record in this category is free because of that rng.
If your timer is not running, go in a video editor and overlay a timer. It's just really really hard to keep track of time if you don't have a timer.
outside of cheating, you can do whatever you want while the timer is ticking. As long as it's not something that would be obviously considered cheating by a casual 7dtd player (editing your files, using commands)
