I am, just now, looking through D2 stages and new strategies and the "Best D2 rally stage" which also has strats like bonking off walls, made me chuckle. :P
SO CLEAN! :O
I've enjoyed watching the whole thing <3
You've optimised the poop out of this game :P Improving against yourself by a second per split, at this precision level... Crazy stuff.
Hello @LeaseDealHunter glad to have such an enthusiastic person in our ranks.
Have you tried your hand at some particular game recently?
For a fast start, I would happily invite you to compete in some smaller challenges,
there is also very fun Colin '98 Rally School category, but installation of the game requires a bit of patience.
See you on the leaderboards!
@josef733 Should I behave like "your kind" on stream, to fit in?
@josef733 Oh, this is why my historic runs are cleared of the boards with no good reason?
This is some really fine racing if I may say so, sir.
And that 80meters jump at 2:05 was dazzingly impressive aswell, sir.
Incredible result.
I have watched this run and your previous WR and it is insane how close they are for most of the run. The first 10 minutes are almost 1:1 identical, less for different accolades (like jump height etc.). There are many moments where you are driving at exactly the same speed at the exact same moment. You are crazy skilled @YtTanel
Congratulations once again on besting an incredible result.
Today, @YtTanel has submitted an IL run, with matching result to the current leader @RevengeRacer . Because of this, I have decided to re-time both 1:06.32 results using frame-to-frame timing & verification with on-screen LiveSplit on YtTanels video. Pacific Drive White Sands-Time Attack Forward Leaderboard
The LiveSplit timing matches frame-to-frame timing. Frame-to-frame timing on the video without LiveSplit, results in an identical time (with +/- 0.02 margin of error).
This is incredible news, as I believe, it shows us that despite the IGT drifting from real-time, the drift it resembles is consistent across systems. Thus making the IGT a reliable decider in results placement on the leaderboard!
Through consultation with YtTanel, we have decided to add a rule, requesting new submissions to include a passively running LiveSplit timer on screen, to verify that game speed isn't tampered with. But the above described phenomenon makes this ruling obsolete, as the IGT should match the gameplay consistently.
So, the rule requesting inclusion of LiveSplit timer on-screen is being tagged as (Optional). But! In cases where results overlap again, like they did in todays case, results will be adjusted in favor of those with the LiveSplit timer
