Thought id put this here in case somebody else wants to run this. Just a few tips from my opinion.

Proof is best to start with. High speed and momentum. Corner moves and combos give high score for high momentum. Pins are a waste of time after the first 2-3 fights. You don't have to win the women's matches to continue, so If they pin you, let it happen. Submissions take forever unfortunately. Doing your special uses all momentum so don't use it unless you'll KO 'em. Letting it run out only loses half. In tag matches, when your partner is in the ring too, get out of the ring to make your opponent look at your partner in stead of you. R2 will look at the opponent closest to you.

Good Luck.

  • A good thing to keep in mind is that it might be useful to know what moves will occur given a certain input. Both for Deja and Proof. E.g. Proof X + Up throws your opponent over you, in a seated position. X + Left / Right does Alley Cat (Fast Side Throw), and X+Down does a Powerslam (in front of you). I personally use these to redirect my enemy towards the turnbuckle. If they're in the corner, use a soft grapple for momentum and damage.

  • Pins are fine for Peewee, Drake, Sketch, Razor and Steel. Ruffneck and Scarface are very inconsistent, so better to KO them. Everything after should be KO'd.

  • Tag matches have a very annoying mechanic where you can't KO the enemy if he's 'Returning to the outside of the ring'. They do this randomly as well. The best thing to do is to use Manny and KO the original enemy asap.

  • Hard Grapples should only be used on an opponent close to or in Danger! mode. Everything else will result in a counter.
