We have two completely different runs on the board right now.

One run starts on a new file while the other starts with an already completed file.

The 2 runs final time is not at the same place as well.

Since I am in the Any% category I started with a clear state skipped conversation scenes and used glitches but I think it would be wrong to treat this the same as the other currently registered RUN. need to decide on clear category rules.

Even if flawed rules are allowed, we could make them clear as well. We could have a category with a fresh file and a category with a completed file. We could decide to be the same category as well, but it could be clear in the rules.

But the big problem is to know when is the ending. It is not clear and the 2 runs on the board have different places to end the run. That's kind of ridiculous.

I thought MiniSebrago's timing was easy to understand for the timer stop timing.

But I still think we should have 2 categories for starting from a fresh file or ''New game +''. The fact is that it is not just to skip the cutscenes. You also don't need to do the gyms and that you are at muscle level 7 from start. It makes you stronger.

If it was just for the cutscenes skipping I would agree, but muscle level makes a difference as well.

I don't understand why you don't want to add a category. It's simple and the runners seem to agree on the 2 categories.

I also think that two categories are necessary. Continue and new game are completely different things, and I want a category that starts with new game.

Added a category for starting with New Game.
