Max HP is 100 on all difficulties. Max QP is 200 on easy, 100 on normal, and 50 on hard. Minimum HP you can get to from QP loss is (maxHealth ¤ 0.1) (10, this formula applies to custom health params though)

HP stages: 80% <= x <= 100% is Green 60% <= x < 80% is Light Green 40% <= x < 60% is Yellow 20% <= x < 40% is Orange 0% <= x < 20% is Red

The rate at which QP loss drains your health is based on your actions: ¤standing still drains the slowest ¤walking drains slightly faster ¤running drains fastest ¤hanging off a ledge will subtract a base 10 QP, and will subtract QP faster than running if continually held ¤¤special note: Keith can only hang off a ledge for a few seconds before falling off if he has no QP ¤¤special note: hanging off a ledge will prevent HP losses from QP for about 15-20 seconds ¤¤¤probably a bug instead of intended behavior ¤tripping will drain 5 QP

Ways to gain HP: ¤HP is regenerated over time. Having a higher amount of QP regenerates health faster. ¤¤HP regen seems to have a linear relationship with QP ¤¤The rate of regen appears to be about (0.001 ¤ QP)/s

¤HP items ¤¤Bandage recovers 30 HP ¤¤Gauze recovers 50 HP ¤¤First Aid Kit recovers 100 HP ¤¤Juice (canned & mixed) recovers 20% HP

Ways to lose HP: ¤QP loss (noted above) ¤Failing to cling following an aftershock (10 HP damage, CANNOT kill (HP will be set at 1)) ¤Drinking muddy water will decrease HP by 30 (cannot kill)

¤Falling (will kill if HP hits 0) ¤¤Units refer to player height coordinates ¤¤Keith is approximately 1.8 units tall ¤¤Falling 3.9 or more units will cause 10 HP damage ¤¤Falling over 6 units will cause 25 HP damage ¤¤Falling over 7.8 units will cause 50 HP damage ¤¤Falling over 9.9 units will cause 100 HP damage (unless armor reduces HP loss this is the game over point) ¤¤Falling over 12 units will cause a kill screen

¤Set Pieces ¤¤Hit by debris by exploding support in Patrick James Park - 10 HP? ¤¤Hit by Greg in falling building - same behavior as tripping ¤¤Hit by waves after hospital collapse - 10 HP ¤¤Cutting yourself on the sharp pipe - 4 HP (can not kill, will set HP to 1)

¤Numerous large objects falling on Keith will set player HP to 0

Equipment effects: Head: ¤Hardhat: No effect? Face: ¤Sunglasses: No effect? Hands: ¤Gloves: No QP penalties for hanging off ledges ¤¤Degrades after hanging off 3 ledges Legs: ¤Shin Guards: Reduces fall damage by 50% ¤¤Degrades after 2 falls Feet: ¤Rubber Boots: Reduces fall damage by 25% ¤¤Degrades after 3 falls
