Snes9x is a trivial program to run these days. If you can stream and/or record for leaderboard submissions, you can almost certainly emulate a SNES.

Tried that. It's still not doing anything. I feel like there's something hiding in my registry making the setup think it's still installed. :/

EDIT: I found the manual installer and uninstaller in the ISO, gonna try that and see if that works.

EDIT2: That got it working. Now that I know how to fix it, I'll play with it tomorrow and see if I can replicate it, or if it was just a one off thing.

Hi guys. Being playing casually, going to learn one of the A routes once I have my Super Meat Boy time at a satisfactory level. I had Sourcenext working fine in Windows 10 64 bit, but I hosed it up trying to install the English text mod so I could casual my way through the game with a little less trial and error. I can't figure out how to completely uninstall so I can get a fresh install. Even after using the uninstall wizard, when I try to reinstall using the setup (as seen in Steven's first Sourcenext install tutorial) both boxes are still lit up and I can't figure out where to go from there (I assume the first one is to play the game and the second is uninstall/repair, but every combination of things I've tried on the second menu has been fruitless). I've tried reinstalling it using Steven's newer tutorial of copypasting the data folder into the correct spot, but that bring up an error prompt that no combination of patches and different exes can fix. Any thoughts?

Was on pace for a HUGE Super Meat Boy PB the other day (was ~1:30 under coming into Rapture, gold splits in Factory and Hell, first try Brownie Skip having just learned it the day before, literally EVERYTHING going right) and my controller decided to die. My A button started sticking closed, X was firing late, phantom directional inputs, etc. Took the run out behind the barn as soon as my delta went red. :'(

I'm confused. Why are you asking us to add new categories if you aren't even running the game?

If you're serious about this game, you'll have sub-25 in under a week like me. :P

Whatever timer you like. Most of us use Livesplit on a PC but you can use a phone timer if you want.

Any% is the same route and strats, the only difference is you have to suffer through longer loads and the replay screen on each level.
