Okay I recently have trouble trying to register "unregistered player" on a game name Feeding Frenzy 2. Someone from China broke the WR on FF2 and I want to register the name. It works on Feeding Frenzy 1 but not on the second one. Why is that?
This would absolutely be challenging for sure. But I guess I wonder how to put the rules for this. Is it full reset if we get eaten once or we reset the certain level that we get eaten. I think this category suggestion is the same requested for the first Feeding Frenzy game.
In my opinion, I wouldn't put this as a category unless if other said yes.
Currently Dongrod didn't submit his part game records onto Part Game category but if he did, he would hold those records stated above.

In this minigame you press the O button in a single repeating beat. You can look at the white box border to pace your beat. The game starts when you hear the "HUI!" sound in the background, but I recommend you already start pressing O in a beat. Afterwards, the plant will pop out 3 items in a certain beat. Press the O button in the same way just before the falling sound stops.
Rewards include level 1 - 4 vegetables, which can replace meat in unit creation and costs less Kaching. Also, eyeball cabbage is used in another minigame.
How To Get: After mission 8 (Desert Crossing) the stage will change to a hunting mission (Creatures of the Sand.) Raining on this map will make Gancheek (snail) appear. Kill it and you will get your cap for your minigame.

In conclusion, to catch the vegetables you have to wait for the falling sound to stop and then catch in a rhythm.
Hi I was about to make a forum thread talking about this too. The site of Splits.io says it will be ending on December 31st, 2024 so I was wondering if there will be alternatives to share our splits in the speedrun site after our submission?
For alternatives, the only one I can think of is TheRun.gg, but I hope speedrun can partner with others after Splits.io ends. Besides sometimes when I went into Splits.io, it says error a lot and crashes so a different alternative for showing splits should be considered.
In Patapon 1, recently there is a new category being added named All Bosses where we need to fight all bosses before completing the game, so maybe we will apply this to Patapon 2 as well.
Okay after some discussions throughout the speedrunners and moderators in the Patapon speedrunning community. I might have found some more strategies to save up time in speedrunning Patapon 1 Full Game.
The first new discovery is by Fly God Meme or @poopunofficial where he suggested a "No Tatepon" in Zaknel so the yaripon and yumipon can focus on attacking the zaknel and the reason for tatepon is that the army tends to make the boss runs away. The other discovery is skipping missions like Sandy Paradise and Guardian of Knell since the Retreat Command is no longer used and we can replace that with Divine Stew along with Defense Command to kill Gorl last boss. The other old discovery is by @mudkipwarrior regarding Fast Command and mainly Flagpole Glitch where we can skips slight animation. (More information regarding the Flagpole Glitch can be found in the Patapon Guides section).
Other unconfirmed strats might include missions of Meden Kidnapped where we might be able to destroy the cart fast enough by using fire weapons before burning Meden. Finally, completing despair without the use of catapult might be able with the use of mediocre armies.

This is a strategy that has been recently discovered by @poopunofficial which involves NOT entering or doing Sandy Paradise and Guardian of Knell missions since both missions are required to obtain the Retreat Command. In this new strat to save lots of time, we do not need to unlock the Retreat Command. Instead, we use the Defense Command unlocked at the early game for Gorl boss at the end when it charges and also with the help of a Stew.
A big shoutout to @poopunofficial for this discovery which helps me get the New World Record of Patapon 1 with a time of 2:47:48.46 by @IvanderLatidjan which is me.
I have a question for top Def Jam runners, how do you get such a fast load times, do you use speedhacks? The rules stated that you can't use turbo mode so I don't know if speedhacks is counted as turbo mode too.
Can you share your emulator settings and stuff and what is Speedhack HD Loader? I downloaded it but don't know where to put the file.
@a_variety_pack I don't know about this but I try to recreate only Day 1 in Coffee Talk to compare with mbahwin run but I could not replicate it and I got 10 seconds slower than his 35 min run in Day 1 alone. I don't know what I do wrong. Maybe @mbahwin can explain.

@SamFloe oh alright, was about to say you can put the emulator you used on the run you submitted in the description but yes PS2 with Fast Disc Speed is faster than emulator and you can get top runs.
Right now its pretty lonely for Left on Read speedrunning but I might need new moderators for this game since I will be leaving from speedrunning this game. I have lost interest in speedrunning this game and I think newer players who have more interests can sign up for mods of this game.
This game moderator was originally from someone until he gave me the power to mod this game.
