GermanyYeah, if this wasn't clear, for hardware runs there is no possibility to have the autosplitter work, it does only work for the PS2 Emulator PCXS2 (version 1.6.0) and the PC version you can buy from GOG.
Hi, what OS are you using, what version of PCXS2 are you running on, what Disc Release are you running the game on? These infos are vital to check if you can even use the autosplitter, as of currently only specific region releases are supported. Meanwhile, you are perfectly fine to submit runs without the use of the autosplitter by either submitting a run without a timer and letting the mods time it, or manually splitting for your runs.

hey folks, for the PC version of MGRR the autosplitter was lacking some useful features. I updated the splitter and added the following things:
new start conditions:
- now every R-01 through R-07 chapter can start the splitter
- now every boss fight can start the splitter (for Boss IL and Boss Rush)
new splits points:
- each begin of a Boss Fight from the chapter selection is also an individual split points
- each QTE of a boss fight as defined by the Boss IL rules is a new split point
With this you can now easily correctly time your Any% no R-00 runs, your Bossrush runs and your Boss ILs.
known issue:
- Jetstream Sam split condition is currently not 100% accurate. Mods will retime this run in all cases until a better solution has been found.

Finally: I made a bunch of split files for your convenience. Standar splits applied, either select all main game splits or all boss rush splits. SAM DLC splits are not yet included (because this wasn't updated in this update)

Go to the category extension board and make a thread there since it’s not a main category. The main mod can then take your suggestion and add it after consideration
Yeah it’s a category where we fight for frames, I quite enjoy that in the Metal gear series. But I agree we could just make it a CE and leave the main board alone.
The board is in a building stage and will be opened up soon. Rules need to be written first. Thanks for understanding. We can make a post when the board is fully integrated and live to announce it.
