Just for fun, I tried the winning route on Volcan Island on my install. I used the intermediate difficulty as that is what I am used to.
I'm having problems with the skip shown here:
I was able to accelerate onto the rock, but the rock bounced me back onto the track, and aiming at nearby points puts me out of bounds (i.e. picked up by Thunderbird).
Can anyone reproduce this skip, just to make sure it isn't patched out in 1.2? Maybe it only works on SuperTux difficulty?
Hi, Indeed this skip is possible only at high speed, so an heavy kart and the supertux speed is required (otherwise you need a zipper). It is definitely not fixed in 1.2. Keep in mind, this skip is very difficult and requires to be very precise (you'll need hundreds of attempts). The zipper version (look at my run or at Theo's 1:46 one) is easier.
