Just because you are the only person to submit a time to a particular website does not make it a world record.

Back when people played this actively in 2009/10/11 there were many dedicated players that put hundreds and hundreds of hours into improving the times that you see before you on the xbox live leaderboard.

If you looked at this leaderboard at any time in the last 10 years you would see "1:03.78" - my record that I spent hours and hours grinding and trying to beat the seemingly untouchable world record at the time of 1:04.11 by khaled13.

Speedrunning is about trying to get as close to perfection as humanly possible, it's about passion and dedication for a game, not about trying to snatch an easy "WR" just so you can say you did.
