Hi everybody,

First thing, I want to apologize if I'm writing in the wrong place or somebody already asked this question.

I'd like to improve my times in SM64 and I'd like to know if there are some program to make easier to know how much time I invest in getting each star, I'd also like to know if there's a list of estimated times for every star, because it takes me about 30 minutes gets the first 20 stars trying setting as modality the 70 stars.

I don't care if the program runs under Windows, I'd like to know it anyway, but if this helps to add more information to my question, I'm playing on Linux through the VC using Dolphin-emu (triforce, gamecube and wii emulator).

Firstly, don't emulate the game like that. I believe muppen n64 emulator can run on linux; not that i have tried. Secondly, I don't quite understand the question; are you asking for a timer program to see how much time you've put in to each star or how much time each star should actually take you individually?

I'm looking for some program to see how much time it took me to get a star. But also a list with estimate times to get each of the 70 stars in 1 hour would be helpful. I already tried Muppen64

You should try Livesplit then, it's a nice timer i've used it for over a year and i still like it. download link here: http://livesplit.github.io/downloads/

If you want you can download some splits (which is the "list" speedrunners use), i believe the leaderboards has some,You can maybe download some splits from there that has a time close to 1 hour, if not you can always ask a runner to get theirs.
