Both players need to record the game ? Hm, bad idea. My partner have bad PC and can't to record the game.

I suggest to make the column IGT and separately the column RTA, and an opportunity to change fps 60 on 30. Also I suggest to make IGT all chapters in one video, but not according to each chapter separately, that to simplify record of game, but it personally my opinion.

Ukraine

Sorry for my mistake. I told that need IGT NG+ and NG RTA. And to record one video for all chapters segmented.

I agree with everything but the both sides recording. So there ya go

I say everyone vote here. And only RE5 runners can vote, not other runners. They don't have a dog in this fight.

Either you relax the framerate rules or both sides have to record, and since allowing uncapped is frankly ridiculous, it's not much of a decision. There's literally no other way of verifying that both players are following the rules. It's not even a matter of someone getting a ridiculous time that warrants this verification. Even if you're only gaining 10, 20, 30 seconds because one player is running uncapped, it's still cheating. We can't go about saying "Well, you don't have to provide proof you're not cheating if you don't cheat enough to get caught."

In the current state of the board, the lack of standards regarding things like this is disturbing to say the least. So just cut the problem off at the knees and say both players need to record. The rules need to be clear, comprehensive, and as fair as possible. They don't need to be forgiving or inclusive. If you can't meet the requirements, you can't submit a run.

Ukraine

I vote for IGT

Russia

I vote for IGT too

@RE_Snow You haven't said what we are voting for. The strawpoll is just to see if the community is receptive to the possibility of change, not voting for/against any of the individual changes.

I personally think this whole "voting" thing is absurd. Just look at the forums over the last week or so. Trying to run the board like a democracy is never going to work because everyone is going to vote for their own interests and not for the benefit of the community as a whole. It's time to lay down a set of rules which are not open to interpretation at all, and the only way to do that is to inconvenience certain people (those who can't record both players, those who can't run at 60fps, etc) to make the rules completely unambiguous. Mods, it's time to put on your dictator caps, make the changes official, and leave them that way. The sooner it happens, the sooner everyone can get back to running the game and learn to live with the new rules.

I wanna get more people in on a call and see what would be the best for all. Some might be good, some might be bad We'll have to see

That poll thou, First answer sounds very open minded and reasonable. The 2nd however is the direct opposite, wont listen to reason, hates everything and dissagree just because.

I think that the poll is very bias based. I cant help but think of that scene in south park where cartman is trying to convince Butters to vote for the turd sandwish insteed of the giant douche.

Seeing as the 2nd option is kind how some people are. Don't care about the open ideas, we haven't changed anything, yet. And already people are mad. These changes wouldn't help anyone who was in that call or help make the list of things. People think I want it to be on top. Sadly, I still wouldn't be. So where's the bias?

If you want the best decisions for everybody, I think everyone needs to realize that these rules might screw some people over and that might be something that is going to happen no matter what. So far in this game we have a bunch of rules open to interpretation that leaves too much leniency for runners.

We need some strict rules that everyone needs to follow. Rules like you need both sides to record should be required for a game like this. Right now, we have the need for only host perspective which leaves your coop partner 100% free to do anything to their settings and it would be nearly impossible to tell if the rules are being followed.

This entire "democracy" idea for establishing rules is entirely ridiculous, we have already seen the terrible side effects from runners thinking they have a chance to influence the rules campaigning for rule changes that only work in their favor. I'm not saying Auddy that you and the other mods shouldn't ask the community for ideas or anything but right now its currently ridiculous.
