maybe do a run first then try to learn things for your level

Go into the misc. section and find WR runs for older updates. Might help you learn some things. Keep in mind though that there are some methods used now that weren't back then.

just accidentally did this during a world record pace run, do NOT go too fast on the computer for farmer john. it will literally get you stuck in the ceiling (at least from what it just did to me)
