Oh where did there comment go I read it yesterday? Is this what happans when people delete posts?

Yeah, I guess people assume that if they delete the initial post it will delete the entire thread.

Yeah, if an OP to a thread is deleted when there are not other posts, the whole thread gets deleted. But when it’s deleted after someone responds, it looks like this mess where nobody knows what was actually said/asked.

I think it would help make more sense if the delete post button was only an option when there are no replies to the thread yet, would save a lot of threads like this one popping up without a starting post.

Yeah, other forums I'm on only let you delete a post if it is the last in the thread at that time, that seems like the most sensible solution.
