I record a PC emulator using Fraps and time with LiveSplit.

What do you use? I'm not sure how to record on a GBA or GBC, so any suggestions would be great!

I'm considering learning and running this game, and I would most likely play on cartridge using the Game Boy Player on my Gamecube with my Elgato capture card to capture and record gameplay through OBS Studio. Would that be acceptable?

Awesome! Just to be sure though, it will be considered as played on emulator even though I'll be playing on the actual cartridge through the official Gamecube attachment?

Good point! Other speedrunners might know better than I do about this matter. Let's say its not emu right now, and change it later if needed.
