ZSR Editors/Mods

Hello! I would like to firstly introduce myself, I am Bokoblins A.K.A Vixy. I am one of the main site staff for ZSR and I'm "new"(early 2016) in terms of admins and working on the site, so I was a bit baffled at the "issues" ZSR faced with the 2D Zelda Communities, however it is a major priority of mine to focus on getting everyone back on solid ground and making ZSR excellent for every community together. I would also like to mention that this being said, I would like to add however many mods/editors that want to contribute to put information on ZSR. This includes Zelda II, Zelda I and any other Zelda game that people wish to help out on. It was also my understanding that people in the past had felt uncomfortable to ask for those rights or privileges for the site. I want to address this head on and say that, if you, or know anyone who would like to contribute to the site then feel free to ask in the ZSR discord server. Now that that is out of the way however, I hope you guys would be willing to help us make ZSR a better place for everyone.

Hello!

If y'all want to link to Red Candle, the resource that the NES Zelda communities have spent years accumulating knowledge on, that's likely your best best.

And of course the Speedrun.com boards are the way to go rather than trying to create a duplicate, especially for Zelda II.

A half duplicated, out of date copy of what's on Red Candle or speedrun.com wouldn't really serve anyone.

The current plan is to move the leaderboards over to SR.C, while still retaining the wiki accessibility on ZSR itself. However I would very much appreciate a link if you could provide me with one. As far as Zelda II, the site section has been added to ZSR earlier today, by myself and I was looking forward to seeing progress being made on it. Thank you for being so cooperative, I appreciate it very much.

Yeah I'm chatting with Skav now. I think we can work together well. He's a good guy and you made a good choice.

Avoiding false modesty the LoZ section of Red Candle is also the best you're going to get for The Legend of Zelda, as well:

i wish nothing but the best and hope all positive comes of this. But I will say at least for myself (I dunno about others) it's gonna take a LOT to win me back over. Some bad things went down in the past with ZSR, much disrespect to the game as well as fellow runners/friends and for me that's not instantly forgivable unfortunately. Again I wish all the best and that all positive things come from this but I will remain on the fence definitely for now. I wish everyone involved all the best!

I'm all for teamwork. Anything we can all do to strengthen the community is good in my eyes.

I agree with ya jus, but this was a BIG thing way back when. I know I for one can't just on the spot forgive and forget, but we'll see. Hopefully things are all for the better and I get to that point. Gonna take some time for me tho, for sure

Well, with Skavenger and Simpoldood on point, if they're given the freedom to work with our established resources at Speedrun.com and Redcandle.us, then there's a chance this can succeed.

Fingers crossed Pres, I hope it does. I am skeptical still for reasons we discussed earlier. I do hope it all works out in the end tho :)
